SPINALE SENTENCED TO PRISON

Brentwood -        County Attorney Jim Reams announced on today that Judge Kenneth McHugh sentenced Michael Spinale (DOB 2/16/85) to 3 to 6 years at the NH State Prison for a Hampton robbery committed on July 21, 2004.  Spinale, formerly of 23 William Road, Billerica, MA, was convicted by a Jury in February of 2006, but Judge Coffey granted Spinale’s Motion for a New Trial, which the State successfully appealed and the conviction was re-instated.  Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams said “It took too long time for justice to catch up with Mr. Spinale, but Judge McHugh accepted our recommendation and imposed a prison sentence. I am glad that this case is finally closed”.
