Rockingham County Attorney announces ongoing traffic crackdown including Sobriety Checkpoints

 

Brentwood -      County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the ongoing Rockingham County traffic crackdown will continue over the 4th of July holidays. A number of Highway Safety grants have been awarded to Rockingham County law enforcement agencies to help fund these activities.   “We will be conducting Court authorized Sobriety Checkpoints on both sides of Rockingham County during the next ten days”, Reams announced. There will be multiple locations over a number of days.  Reams stated, “Along with the NH State Police and Rockingham Chiefs of Police, I urge the public to drive carefully and not to drink and drive”.
