“Man Charged With 1999 Sexual Assault in Rockingham County Added to FBI’s Most Wanted List”

 

A former New Hampshire man, Jon Savarino Schillaci, charged with sexually assaulting a five-year old boy in 1999 was placed on the FBI’s list of most wanted fugitives this past Friday. Schillaci, 35, is charged with molesting the son of a Deerfield, NH couple with whom he had been living. Schillaci began corresponding with the family during a ten-year prison sentence in Texas, also for assaulting minor children. Following his release from prison in 1999, Schillaci had expressed a desire to get away from Texas and had made a living arrangement with the boy’s family while he was supposedly finding work, starting school, and looking for an apartment in New Hampshire. It was during this time where the assault on the boy occurred.

 

After failing to appear for a hearing following his indictment on November 4th, 1999 on sexual assault charges, an arrest warrant was issued. Aside from a reported incident where Schillaci was believed to have been seen in Mexico in 2000, no confirmation of his whereabouts has been established by authorities. Over the years, he is believed to have used several aliases as well, including Jon Willis, Christopher Keegan, and Cody Keegan.

 

Additionally, Schillaci was charged by a Rockingham County Grand Jury with twenty-three counts of possession of child pornography in September of 2000. There is currently a reward of up to $100,000.00 being offered to any individual providing information about Schillaci leading to his arrest.
