Clarence Sanders conviction upheld

Brentwood - County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the N.H. Supreme Court upheld the conviction of Clarence Sanders for Attempted Murder. Sanders (DOB 2/24/64) was convicted of attempting to Murder a Raymond woman on May 14, 2006. Sanders fled and was arrested by the West Virginia State Police and after a legal battle returned to New Hampshire to face trial.

“Sanders appeal raised issues of such legal and factual insignificance that the Court upheld the conviction without oral argument. I am glad that the victim can look to the future without wondering what happens next.” said Reams.
