NH Supreme Court upholds Rockingham convictions
Brentwood - County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the N.H. Supreme Court
upheld two Rockingham convictions. On June 24, the Court upheld the DWI
conviction of Jackie M. Saucier (DOB 9/30/53), l/k/a 81 Amazon Campground,
Rochester, who was convicted of DWI after a chase from Maine ending in an
arrest by the NH State Police from Troop A assisted by Portsmouth Police Department.
The NH Supreme Court decided the case without oral argument.
On June 30, the Supreme Court
also upheld the 2007 convictions of Michael Brown (DOB 9/7/61) of 401 South
Jewett Street, Manchester for Attempted Murder and Witness Tampering for the August 11, 2006
strangulation assaults upon a female. Brown was sentenced to and is
serving 10 to 40 years in the NH State Prison. Both Opinions are attached.
