MICHAUD
CONVICTED ON NUMEROUS COUNTS OF FELONIOUS SEXUAL ASSAULT

County Attorney Jim
Reams announced today that a Rockingham County
jury has convicted Joseph Michaud, (DOB 09/20/64) of LKA 155 Spruce Lane, Auburn,
NH on four counts of Felonious
Sexual Assault. The above charges stem
from incidents that occurred at both the defendant and victim’s houses in Auburn. The victim in this case was 7 at the time
the molestation started and was the defendant’s best friend’s daughter. The assaults started in the fall of 2006 and
continued through 2007-2008.
The Trial Team was Assistant County
Attorney Charlene Dulac, Assistant County Attorney Jerome Blanchard and Victim Advocate Tara Longo. The
defendant faces 3 ˝ – 7 years on each Felonious Sexual Assault and is currently
being held without bail pending his sentencing and the completion of a
Pre-sentence Investigation by the Department of Corrections.
“I hope this verdict helps the
family reconcile what happened to their child by their former family friend”,
said Reams.
