EXETER RESTAURANT INDICTED

Brentwood -        County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the Rockingham County Grand Jury has returned an Indictment against Exeter Restaurant Group, Inc. d/b/a Tio Juan’s Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, 93 Portsmouth Avenue, Exeter alleging that the restaurant served an intoxicated person, Anthony Defreitas, on November 7, 2008.

Defreitas left the restaurant and rear-ended a car on the onramp of Rt. 101, which resulted in a high speed chase to the Defreitas residence on Oakland Road in Exeter.
