Supreme Court upholds MacKinnon Conviction
Brentwood - County Attorney Jim Reams
announced today that the NH Supreme Court upheld the conviction of Melissa
MacKinnon, (DOB: 10/29/69) of 33 Garden Avenue, Plaistow. MacKinnon was
convicted by a Jury in October of 2005 of embezzling over $32,000 from her
brother-in-law/employer while working as a bookkeeper for the business.
The Court issued an Order after finding after a review of the briefs and record
of the case that oral argument is unnecessary.
