PRESS RELEASE
LAVALLEE CONVICTION
UPHELD
Brentwood -
County Attorney Jim Reams announced today
that the N.H. Supreme Court upheld the conviction of Gregory Lavallee (DOB 5/26/74), formerly
of 23 Old Manchester
Road, Raymond, NH. Lavallee was convicted by a Jury on September 27, 2007
for the November
16, 2006 Raymond Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, 2nd
Degree Assault and Simple Assault upon a female victim known to him.
Lavallee is currently serving a 14 ½ to 29 year sentence for this crime having
been “maxed out” for each crime, consecutive to each other. “The
Defendant offered to drive the victim home from a bar and then took advantage
of her. This was a particularly brutal rape and assault where the defendant
broke a bone in the victim’s face and sexually assaulted her. Hopefully, this
Order will allow this brave victim to put this behind her”, said Reams
The Supreme Court Order is attached.
