Supreme Court upholds Jurentkuff Conviction

Brentwood -  County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the NH Supreme Court upheld the conviction of Thomas Jurentkuff/DOB:  12-28-68, 437 Amherst St, Manchester, in an Order released on May 31st.  The Court rejected the defendant’s claim that the trial court erred in denying his request to order the State to examine a police officer’s personnel file for exculpatory evidence, refusing to admit evidence and/or instruct a jury on the legal significance of a .03 breathalyzer reading.

Jurentkuff was found guilty in February 2006 of driving while intoxicated, subsequent offense, stemming from an incident in Salem, NH on November 29, 2004.    He was sentenced to 120 days at the House of Corrections with 30 days suspended for two years good behavior.
