ICAC Presentation

 

Brentwood - Rockingham County Attorney Jim Reams recently conducted a presentation to the Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Conference held in San Jose, CA. Reams was asked by the Legal Committee of the ICAC National Working Group to prepare and deliver a presentation updating Court decisions from around the country concerning Internet Crimes.

 

"I was happy to do the annual Legal Update for the conference.  Unfortunately, there is no crime that is growing faster than crimes against our children aided by the use of computers and the internet." said Reams. 
 
The presentation was given twice during the 3 1/2 day conference.  This is the first year that the ICAC Conference was held as a stand alone conference and it attracted over 800 investigators, forensic examiners, prosecutors and academics.
