Joseph W. Hanley gets 10 to 20 year sentence

 

 

Brentwood -  County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that Joseph W. Hanley, of 7 Spruce Drive, Dover (DOB 2/21/77) was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in the NH State Prison after pleading guilty to 3 counts of Felonious Sexual Assault (FSA) involving a 15 year old, 1 count of FSA, 1 count of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault (AFSA) and two misdemeanor charges for Endangering the Welfare of a child. 

 

"Judge Tina Nadeau accepted our recommendation and sentenced Hanley to 10-20 years at the NH State Prison on the AFSA, 3 1/2-7, stand committed, concurrent on the FSA’s, and 12 months of the House of Corrections for the misdemeanors.  He was ordered to complete Sex Offender Program and drug and alcohol counseling.  He was also ordered to have no contact with the victims", according to Reams.

 

"This is another case where the use of the Child Advocacy Center enhanced our ability to investigate and ultimately prosecute the Defendant on all charges", said County Attorney Jim Reams.
