FAT BELLY’S FOUND GUILTY OF PROHIBITED SALES AT STATUS CONFERENCE TODAY

 

Brentwood -        County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the N.H. Superior Court Judge Kenneth McHugh found Joe’s New York Bar Grill, LLC d/b/a Fat Belly’s guilty of a misdemeanor charge of Prohibited Sales at the status conference scheduled today, June 29 after Fat Bellys entered a plea of “nolo contender” to the charge.

 

Fat Belly’s was fined $8,000.00 and given a penalty assessment of $1,600.00.

 

“The fines will be used for law enforcement training and possibly future undercover operations in Portsmouth”, said Reams.

 

The terms had been contained in a plea offer made by the State some time ago and was accepted today at the Status Conference.
