ELLIS CONVICTED OF NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE

 

Brentwood - County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that a Rockingham County Jury convicted Charles Ellis, 382 Vine Street, Northfield, VT (DOB 12/22/65) of Negligent Homicide for causing the death of Edward Ellison on June 29, 2006 travelling southbound in I-93.  Ellis ran into the rear of Charles Ellis while under the influence of drugs, methadone.


Ellis was also found guilty of possessing heroin, Reckless Conduct and Aggravated DWI.  Ellis is being held at Rockingham County Jail awaiting sentencing. A sentencing date has yet to be set.
