Press Release

Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham (CACRC) Announces New Chair of the Board and Executive Director

Portsmouth, NH, November 15, 2007:  Jim Reams, Rockingham County Attorney, has been elected as the new Chair of the CACRC Board of Directors.  A board member since the centers inception in 2000, Jim has spear headed efforts in developing investigator courses for the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program.  As an executive committee member for the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), Jim has been working to develop child safety laws and ongoing training for child protection attorneys in the field.

The center has also appointed Maureen “Moe” Sullivan as the new Executive Director.  Because of her passion for the center’s mission, Moe has stepped from a board position to become the ED.  She brings 23 years of business experience working for several Fortune 500 corporations to start-up companies’ gone public.  She is also an instructor at the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business.  Moe’s objective is to expand the awareness to the general population and elicit support for the CACRC’s continued growth.
