BAYVIEW DEFENDANT TO BE SENTENCED

 

 

Brentwood -        County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the Rockingham County Superior Court has scheduled the Sentencing Hearing on Putnam Breed for Wednesday, July 18th at 10am. 

 

On January 16th, Breed was found guilty on nine counts of fraudulent handling of recordable writing, three counts of theft by deception and one count of theft by unauthorized taking.  The Class B felonies are each punishable by a 3½- to 7-year prison sentence.  Breed’s co-defendant, Derek Wallace, is currently scheduled to go to trial the week of September 24th.
