Additional charges for Barnaby

Brentwood -  County Attorney Jim Reams announced today that the Rockingham Grand Jury returned five additional Theft Indictments against Bruce Barnaby (DOB 1-28-58) of 5876 Ocean Blvd., Hampton. The Thefts were carried out as a part of Barnaby's Truck and Equipment company in Kensington and occurred between 2003 and 2006.  The Thefts are all Class A felonies with a maximum sentence of 7 ½ to 15 years in prison and a $4,000.00 fine.  The Indictments involve over a million dollars worth of thefts from 6 different victims.

Barnaby was convicted in September of 2006 for other Thefts and Forgery and placed upon probation by Judge Tina Nadeau.

An Indictment is only an accusation and the Defendant is legally presumed innocent until conviction.
